My little Anna has discovered âthe color monster â a book of feelingsâ in school few days ago. She is in love with it and couldnât stop talk about the colors of emotion. So, I decide to make these baby octopus for her to create and enjoy more stories about this topic.
It will take you less than 1 hour to finish one octopus. You can use it as a keychain, a little friendly octopus on your desk, or create them in all colors of emotion as mine: red – angry, yellow – happy, green – calm, blue – sad, grey – scared and pink – love.
As always, at a small fee, you can also buy this pattern to receive a beautifully-formatted, and easy-to-read PDF file with photo references! Thank you for supporting Khuc Cay designs.
Letâs make this super fun and easy project and share with me with hashtag #Khuccay #Lespetitesmainsdekhuccay, or add a Ravelry project.
Happy crocheting â„

Thanks for the cute pattern. How do you make the tentacles curl?
Khuc Cay
Hi, I made it as I wrote in the pattern.
If you prefer to make it curler, you can add some more increasing stitches.
shanni
For the tentacles would it be in the front loops of round 16 instead of 15 because you crochet in the BLO of round 16.
Khuc Cay
Nope. You crocheted round 16 on the back loops of round 15 so at the end you have the front loops of round 15 unworked. The round 16 is crocheted on the back loops of round 15, we donât have the back loops of round 16 before creating it.
